Prototype/Short Run Castings
Fisher Cast Steel has a long history of producing prototype and short run, stainless and carbon castings, from 1 – 8,500 lbs in weight. Our sales and engineering staff will work directly with you to determine the most appropriate patternmaking process to meet the cost and lead time of your project.
Fisher has cast thousands of CNC cut, polystyrene or Styrofoam patterns as well as 3-D printed molds and cores. Parts such as impellers, hydro turbines, pump casings, valves, volutes, aerospace tooling have been cast using these forms of manufacturing. This mode of manufacturing greatly reduces lead time and cost for our customers.
The ability of Fisher’s engineering group to utilize MAGMASOFT casting simulation provides added confidence to meet quality requirements. In addition, Fisher can handle nearly all NDT requirements for your project.
