Fisher Cast Steel produces small and large sand castings in a wide range of stainless and carbon steel alloys for a diverse group of industries. In addition, we pour duplex, cobalt, invar, nickel-based and other alloys. Our workforce has decades of experience and is equipped to produce various alloys and geometries needed for your application.

Engineering and Technical:

Fisher will assist with up-front sand casting and tooling design to give the greatest probability of success. MAGMASOFT sand casting simulation software aids the up-front work to predict casting defects.

Quality:

Our sand cast / no-bake foundry is both ISO 9001:2015 and PED certified. We are committed to continually improving our operation to supply the highest quality casting.

Tooling:

For production sand casting projects, tooling is generally wood or urethane. For prototype and quick turnaround projects, we use polystyrene or foam tooling. This keeps pattern costs down and lead times short.

Manufacturing and Equipment:

Our sand casting operation has multiple induction furnaces with the ability to pour up to 11,500 lbs. at one time. In addition, we have three large heat treat ovens and water quench equipment to satisfy heat treat requirements in-house. Our company is committed to the foundry business which is evident with major capital investments.

Your consistent high level of performance on all our orders is noticed and appreciated. We can always count on Fisher.
